Can a digital tool/s help students be more self-regulated...leading to Learner Agency

Further to my inquiry question, as I reflect on what I have learnt so far. It is becoming clearer that a digital tool like Google Classroom can support students to take more ownership of their learning and therefore be more self-regulated.

What is Learner Agency?
Having the power and capacity to act and make choices.

I feel that Google Classroom (digital technologies) can support learning agency. However, I feel that I am still on the outset of this learning and I am looking for to understanding more.
